Early Childhood Special Education

WSESU provides early childhood special education to children between the ages of three and five up until kindergarten who have developmental delays and disabilities and who qualify for an Individual Education Program, or IEP. We provide early childhood special education within school- or community-based early childhood programs to ensure inclusive preschool education. We are covered under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) of 2004.
